We are OG Containers, an American-owned and employee-run company. We were built with an eco-friendly ethos to lessen the carbon footprint of cannabis packaging. 
While deeply pleased with the changes in lawmaking that have allowed cannabis to be more readily available, we noticed a problem—plastic litter. 
Our direct competitor, the plastic pop-top, litters the streets of legalized states. We sought out to manufacture a container that could offer the same security as a plastic pop-top with less environmental impact.

Our Original Green containers are certified childproof, competitively priced, and engineered specifically with the cannabis industry in mind. We’re currently offering our eco-friendly Pre-Roll Joint Tubes, which are made with BioLogiQ's NuPlastiQ technology.

OG containers are bio-sourced, making them with ingredients from our Earth! The best part? Our joint tubes will degrade naturally in about a year, a fraction of the 1000 years it takes plastic to decompose.

The Problem

On a trip to Colorado in 2015, Robert (Founder) was taken aback by the number of pop-top bottles from dispensaries littering the roadsides. As an avid outdoorsman and cannabis advocate, this conspicuously negative impact of the cannabis industry struck him as being in direct conflict with the core values of environmental and community responsibility inherent to this green industry. Inspired to provide a packaging solution, he launched the research and development phase to bring our proprietary material to market. Additionally, most packaging used in the cannabis industry comes in sizes standard for the medical prescription drug industry. Specifically, the ubiquitous pop-top containers are narrow and designed to fit standard dram sizes. This often necessitates the use of oversized containers to avoid damaging valuable and delicate flower material. The result is an increase in the amount of petroleum-based plastic consumed, CO2 in the air, and the consumer is burdened with another bulky container to dispose of.

Our Solution

OG Containers are designed specifically for the cannabis industry and offer a competitively priced bio-sourced packaging solution. The tapered shape allows delicate flower material to be packaged efficiently without damage. Our proprietary material degrades with exposure to light and humidity, so even if improperly disposed of, this cannabis packaging won't become permanent litter with your branding on it. Domestic manufacturing reduces our packaging's overall carbon footprint while supporting American manufacturing jobs.
